This is The Ultimate Foodie Learn Great Foods Tour!

Leelanau Peninsula culinary tours are based at Sweeter Song Farm in Cedar, which is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) organic farm. Our hosts Jim Schwantes and Judy Reinhardt embody hospitality and artistry in their gardens and CSA share vegetables. Tour stops include Leelanau Naturals (beef farm), Carlson's Fisheries in Leland, Leelanau Cheese Co. at Blackstar Farms in Suttons Bay, and Bel Lago Vineyards & Winery... We are about to run out of space so we won't tell you everything here! And all just around the corner from the farm! The gourmet knowledge of the Leelanau Peninsula food producers is ours to meet-and-greet!

Each tour includes two food stops, cooking demonstration at the farm*, with delicious organic gourmet dinner! The menu varies- depending on what is picked up on the tour that day! We dine alfresco in the herb garden once the weather warms up. We enjoy a hands-on cooking class and "dine-inn" at Aspen House Bed & Breakfast in early May (and late October), and on rainy Wednesdays throughout the season.

Go Fish! Weekend Retreat, MI
Fish: It’s food for your heart and for your brain. This weekend retreat will explore the benefits of fish, and the problems our local lake-dwellers are experiencing. Included in this retreat are a tasting reception, tours of local fisheries and wineries and cooking classes by our guest chef that will teach you great recipes to make at home.
