Two tours are scheduled for 2008:
We will visit the cultural mecca of Merida, a thriving Mexican metropolis, with a fantastic fusion cuisine, dating back 500 years! A delicious combination of indigenous ingredients: limes, turkey, and cacao, with the European imports of cheeses, eggs, and chicken. An amazing culinary heritage! We will cook with local chefs, visit a Mayan village and talk with a shaman leader, enjoy restored colonial hospitality, and lose ourselves in the music, dance, and art of a great North American city. Then we spend a day at Uxmal, a spectacular Mayan site, and on to Isla de Mujeres, near Cancun, for two days of island culture, with fishing and, yes, more food... Click here to download our pdf.
