A unique opportunity to visit an organic fifth-generation family farm in the lovely Mississippi River hills.  Organic grains, cattle and chickens raised on this gorgeous farm. 

We walk and talk with farmer Bill Giddings.  Bill's great-grandfather started Evergreen Hill Farm as a nursery and shipped trees all over the country.  Bill switched to organic growing practices in 1980, and raises healthy cattle and chickens.  His organic approach focuses on healthy soils and balance.  Learn about compost, soil tests, cattle management, and other challenges of going organic, from a genuine master-of-his-craft.
